Creating worlds of Darkness, Endurance, and Love

Get to Know me!

I am a wife, mother of one, part-time storyteller, and full-time bisexual disaster. By day, my organizational skills and love of spreadsheets help me order a chaotic world into something a bit more manageable. By night, I creates chaotic worlds of my own. I have been writing for over a decade, starting in the margins of my high school planner before graduating to a laptop that took thirty minutes to start. Now I create on a machine that can actually support my writing software without crashing, surrounded by my pet tarantulas and a collection of all my favorite stories.

Raising the dead: the Responsible Necromancer's Guide to Parenting

Reanimating Corpses is easy. Rebuilding trust? not so much.

As the Doctrine’s only Master Necromancer, Corrine Teresi’s days are spent maintaining the bodily functions of ungrateful corpses, bringing reckless idiots back from the dead, and searching for the answer to True Resurrection - the only way she can heal her best friend of his permanently life-ending disease. Just as she’s losing hope, her slightly insane former love, Adam Moore, breaks into her house to offer a solution: an ancient ritual that allows a Master Necromancer to ask for a boon from a long-murdered god by reuniting the scattered pieces of the god’s body. The catch? Adam alone knows where the pieces are, and he’s only willing to reveal their locations in exchange for a rushed Necromancy apprenticeship. Can she risk aiding the wicked man she’s spent years trying (and failing) to forget?

Adam Moore is a Dark Lord with a mission. He has until the winter solstice to either find a Necromancer willing to revive a death god or attempt to master the art himself. Fortunately, he has been in love with Corrine since he first laid eyes on her. Unfortunately, she is under the impression that he’s going to use the god to overthrow the light mage leadership of the Doctrine. She’s right, of course. It’s a good thing he has information she would do nearly anything - even forget her oath to murder him on sight - to acquire. Can he win her back without sacrificing the future he’s worked so hard to achieve?
